Ben Fitzgerald - Do you have passion or merely a doctrine?

Some of y'all aren't gonna like this post. It won't be happy enough, or loving in your opinion maybe, or it might offend your thought that "Jesus is only a kind little teddy bear who loves everyone and gives out little daisies"- well I'm sorry in advance for the misunderstanding that may come but here it is. I'm writing this because I'm tired of all the compromise I read and hear of what truth is. I'm not saying I have a full grip of it by no means - but many People are so darn afraid of saying anything that doesn't please every person who will hear it so they make up doctrines and lies that suit everyone and have become overnight Hebrew/Greek scholor know it alls- but don't have a weeping or deep passion to actually save souls. They must instead make it pleasing to the ears and want people to like them so they ask questions about hell and judgment as through they are not real and no one is suffering because of sin or will suffer. Of course not right? God is love ? Yeah the people that always say that usually have no clue what it cost Jesus to actually win them out of hell and sin, they don't consider the innocent blood spilled from the only person in history that never wronged God or us.

Yes its ok to have personal opinions on matters, but how about instead of all the doctrinal debates and forming your ministries around them, get on your face and ask God for a wake up call from the fear of man and for a heart of passion for Jesus and hurting people. If you believe and teach people there is no consequence for mankind then Why would God say (after he cross) "flee immorality" or "flee sin" - Why would he warn humanity if it didn't know it will have an eternal consequence for us. Is He just trying to make a better earth?? Or is it because "there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of that way is destruction". We can make up as many doctrines and ideas as we want to believe all people have no real sin in Gods sight and God just loves them- but the sad reality about that is we are letting people live like sittings ducks awaiting a judgment they don't even know is coming. I'm not saying we should judge them- no, but pray for them and love them into Jesus. We should deeply and certainly care for their eternal destiny instead of ignoring it. I honestly have no understanding as to why people don't care about this!!

Some People I know often care more about debating the doctrine of hell and sounded like greek philosophers then helping real people escape it by showing them Gods goodness. In the end Jesus will say to some "gather out of my kingdom all causes of sin and all that are lawbreakers and throw them into a fiery furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" Matthew 13:41...how can that not move us ? If repentance isn't necessary for salvation and turning from your old life then why then did Jesus command "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in all nations beginning at Jerusalem" - Luke 24:47. Honestly when we embrace our searching for doctrines more then relationship with Jesus himself who wants to set people free- then we become irrelevant bookworms who have no idea how to lead a sinner to grace. All we will know how to do is write books that help aid the masses of away from God (because apparently they are saved anyway). What about 2 Timothy 4:3 "for the time will come when they will only endure sound doctrine, but ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN DESIRES, because they have itching ears- they will heap up teachers for themselves"...in other words- make God and His words say what suits me as a trade off for what's actually true. Last one- 1 Corinthians 6:9 "do you not know that the unrighteousness will NOT inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived" Either that is true or its 100 percent untrue. You get to choose what you believe, I'm gonna go on with the simple gospel and help people escape what they were never made for, what will you do ?
